I am sorry for the situation that she finds herself in, but I do not pity her. I get the feeling she wouldn't want that. Pretty much the only patient that I'll "pull rank" on First Aid for, because we can't end up alienating Vika from those who can assist her in repairing her body... but I must make sure it is done how she wants it. We do not treat a chart or test results but a thinking, feeling person. (And I enjoy our talks. So there.)
